Eco Club Trees March 2023

Blessed Trinity Eco-Club is taking its 'green' duties seriously!

They have planted 150 trees recently, donated from 'I Dig Trees', and have also been working in the chapel garden, painting benches and 'planting' affirmation rocks.

They are now learning about growing a vegetable garden, working on recycling compost and also implementing changes around school, via the school council.

"We are getting rid of polystyrene cups in the canteen," said Mrs Scott, who oversees the Eco-Club. "We are also encouraging recycling and using fewer plastic bottles.

"The 150 trees we have planted, we are working on nurturing them and helping them grow so that pupils learn more about ongoing care for nature."
