Blessed Trinity's School Council is raising awareness of prejudicial language.

The council, which consists of Years 7-11, is putting together their own policy.

Head Boy Sebastian said: "We are trying to raise awareness and make people think about what they say and how language can be used.

"Rather than it come from the teachers, we want it to come from the pupils so we are putting a policy together.

"We are also designing our own posters about this to put up around school."
