Ms McCue (SENDCO and SLT Responsible)

The department is here to support any child that may has any barrier to learning and support pupils through their school journey. Within the SEND department, pupils with a SEND need will be assigned ‘Key Worker’ dependent on their SEND needs. These Key workers are there as a source of contact between parent and pupil and will liaise with parents regarding their child.

SEN TWalsh
Miss Walsh (Assistant SENDCO and ADHD/SEMH Lead)

My name is Miss Walsh. I am the Assistant SENDCO at Blessed Trinity. I work with Miss McCue and the SEND department. We make sure everything that is needed to help you learn is in place for September. I work with all pupils who have special educational needs and will always be around if you need help with anything. I look forward to meeting you all.





SEN NDalton
Ms Daulton (SPLD Lead)

My name is Miss Daulton.  I am the Specific Learning Difficulties Leads.  This means that if you have any learning need or are struggling with your literacy, I will help you.  I also help pupils with Speech and language and with Motor skill issues, such as Dyspraxia.







SEN CBaldwin
Mr Baldwin (SPLD TA)

My name is Mr Baldwin and I work alongside Ms. Daulton, specialising in supporting pupils who have specific learning difficulties (SPLD).







SEN JGreen
Mrs Green (EAL/Physical/Visual/Hearing Disabilities Lead)

Hello there I am Mrs Green, we look after students with physical disabilities and also look after students with English as an additional language. I also teach Polish and I love helping with maths.







SEN JCooper
Mrs Cooper (Physical/Visual / Hearing Disabilities TA)

Mrs Cooper likes PE, ART and she is very good at cooking.








SEN MWilkinson
Mrs Wilkinson (ASD Lead)

ASD lead, teaching assistant. I work with Miss Stott supporting ASD students. Love doing my job and helping pupils with various needs. Always here to listen to you and provide support when you need it either in your school or personal life. I understand how difficult transition is, but remember you are not alone. Ja mowie po Polsku (I speak Polish). At home I enjoy looking after my children, running and playing with my dog. Can’t wait to meet you all and make your transition to BTRCC as smooth as possible.

Hello! My name is Mrs Da Costa Oliveira. I work in the SEN Department and help students with their literacy. I conduct one-to-one sessions with students focusing on improving their reading skills such as comprehension and fluency.

Hello there, my name is Mrs. Thornton-Armitt (Mrs TA for short) I am a teaching assistant in school, so I am here to help with whatever you may need or can help you find someone who can. I love my job; my favourite part is that no two children or two days are the same. I look forward to seeing you all next year!

Mrs M Sandham (Pupil support TA)

Hello, I am Mrs Sandham. I provide support and guidance to students of all ages, in particular students with special educational needs and disabilities. I believe everybody is entitled to the best experience possible at school, which is why I love being a part of our friendly Learning Support team at Blessed Trinity. We work together to ensure all students are included, engaged and enjoy their learning experience so they can reach their true potential.
